I've been doing a whole series of original manga characters, with an obvious dual-theme:  colors and costumes.  It's taking about 8 hours per character, and the full-size is just massive, so I'm looking forward to making an ensemble poster when I'm through.  They're already starting to show up individually as designs on my Cafe Press storefront, Halley Designs.  Buy a shirt to wear to the anime convention, if you're not going to actually cosplay with the rest of the crowd.

I was blown away by the response to my ortho-mosaic project, which assembled carefully staged photographs of my mother's 1902 Period Dollhouse.  Favs and comments poured in, far more than I would have expected.  More people have seen inside this dollhouse in the past week, than have seen inside the dollhouse for all the years it's been assembled.  I'll have to let Mom know about it.  Oh, and buy a print.  She's got a few new ideas for the dollhouse attic...

Now that I've been in Connecticut for the better part of a year, without much chance for time for photography, I finally gave myself a new treat. http://www.42photo.com/productdetail.asp?level=&catid=316&productid=9268 My prints are still available but my long subscription has finally ceased.  If I get fresh comments I might renew.  Time will tell.
