The prime pyramid at Chichen Itza, Mexico.
The Aztecs positioned their pyramids according to the equinoxes, and designed the steps to represent each day and month of the year. Ninety one steps up each side plus the summit makes 365 days. Their months were derived differently, and one large corner step of the pyramid represents each of those.
It is hard not to worship the sun when stepping up these stones centuries later. The sun will outlast us all.
